Breakfast and After School Club

St Francis Breakfast and After School Club is designed to support families in the St Francis school community. The main aim being to give working parents the assurance that their child will be cared for to the same quality standards and in the same ethos that the school offers.

All staff are employees of the school who receive regular training. The Club is run under the leadership of the Head Teacher and Governing Body of the school who have the responsibility for monitoring quality standards.

The Breakfast Club is accommodated in the school hall where the children are offered a healthy breakfast snack and a drink. The After School Club is accommodated in the Elliott Huts and have access to the Key Stage One playground area. In both areas children are offered healthy snacks and drinks. The Breakfast Club will run from 8am until 8.45am from Monday to Friday during term time. The After School Club will run from 3.15pm to 5.30pm from Monday to Friday during term time. Both clubs will be closed during school holidays and for 5 days each year to provide staff training and development (INSET days).

The children have the opportunity to engage in a range of exciting activities both indoors and out of doors. They also plays a part in the decision making in relation to the types of activities that they are interested in. This means that as far as possible activities are tailored to the interests of the children. There is also an opportunity for children to complete homework tasks set by their teacher during the day.

The Prices are:

Breakfast Club – £3.50 per session

After School Club – £7.00 per session

10% reduction for siblings.

To book a place for your child, please pop into reception to collect a form, or you can download one below. Payments are to be made online via Details of how to use school money can be viewed here. We also accept payment via childcare vouchers for Edenred, Sedexo and Kiddivouchers, please inform the office, if you use another childcare voucher that we have not listed.
